Stephen Rhodes, CEO
Meet Stephen Rhodes, the CEO of Avail Aesthetics.
Stephen was born and raised in Eastern NC, and has had a successful career as a NASCAR Driver prior to opening Avail Aesthetics. From the age of eight he began racing go-karts on dirt and ended his career with an achievement of racing in one of NASCAR’S top three series, the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series. Stephen is currently attending college to become an RN. After leaving NASCAR Stephen began searching for his next career move. That has included several successful businesses that he sold and a current retail store called Bella Vita Home + Lifestyle in downtown Raleigh that he owns with his partner, Nathan. Stephen was inspired so much by the Lifestyle side of that business that he decided to get into Aesthetics.
A true passion for helping others, and having a partner that is an MD, led to Avail Aesthetics.
Stephen enjoys traveling, snow skiing, boating, four wheeling and spending time in Asheville with his beagles Emmy and Briggs.
Nathan Davis, MD
Co-Founder, Medical Director & Injector
Dr. Davis is originally from East Tennessee and completed his undergraduate education at King University. He subsequently completed his medical education at Wake Forest School of Medicine and an Anesthesiology residency at Wake Forest Baptist Health in Winston-Salem, NC. Following completion of his medical training Dr. Davis moved to Charlotte, NC, where he was a specialist in Regional Anesthesia. He relocated to Raleigh, NC, in 2018 and continues to work as an Anesthesiologist with a focus in Regional Anesthesia.
Dr. Davis was drawn to both Anesthesiology and medical aesthetics by the desire to improve the lives and well-being of those around him. These fields allow him to bring comfort, happiness and peace to everyone he treats. Both demand a significant eye for detail and flawless form with injections, and have been a perfect fit for his interests and skills.
In his free time, Dr. Davis enjoys traveling, camping, boating, and reading. He’s also passionate about architectural and landscape design and has been involved in multiple residential and commercial design and renovation projects.
Kelly Smith, MSN, FNP-BC
Meet Kelly Smith, the advanced practice nurse injector.
Kelly Smith MSN, FNP-BC joins the Avail Aesthetics team as an advanced practice nurse injector. She graduated with honors from Simmons University with a Masters in Nursing, holds a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of Texas Medical Branch, and a Bachelor of Science in Interdisciplinary Studies from Michigan State University.
Kelly worked in the cardiovascular ICU and rapid response team for 5 years, then in 2019 pursued her dream of working in dermatology and aesthetics. She specializes in cosmetic dermatology, joining her two passions skin health & aesthetics. Kelly loves to treat skincare conditions such as acne, rosacea, and melasma while also offering full-facial balancing using neuromodulators, hyaluronic acid fillers, & collagen induction therapy.
She leads with education and collaboration with her patients to provide the best treatment plan to achieve their desired goals. When she’s not injecting or readying research articles, Kelly enjoys hiking with her two dogs, Duke and Dixie, traveling, and cooking!

Holly Tabor, Nurse Practitioner
Holly Tabor, MS, APRN, FNP-C graduated Magna Cum Laude from Georgetown University earning a Master of Science with a concentration as a Family Nurse Practitioner. She graduated Cum Laude from Cox College of Nursing and Health Sciences with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing and Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Science in Kinesthesiology from Evangel University in 2008. Most of her nursing career was spent in the Emergency Department but her love of science and art led her the aesthetic field in 2019. She dove in head first learning everything she could about the art of injecting, the intricate anatomy of the face, best skin care practices, and regenerative medicine. Staying current with industry standards and practices, while learning new techniques and building relationships allows her to deliver the best outcomes for her patients.

Ashley graduated with her BSN from UNC-Chapel Hill in 2006. After years of working in multiple hospital settings, Ashley went back to earn her MSN in Nurse Anesthesia from UNC-Greensboro in 2015. Ashley’s goal is to make everyone look and feel their best, all while achieving a natural and youthful appearance. You will always get safety as a top priority and honesty (and hopefully a laugh as well) when you come to see her!

Lisa has been a licensed aesthetician since 1998. She worked in Las Vegas for 10 years in resort spas, the longest at Mandalay Bay. She performed multiple skin care and body services and worked as Lead Aesthetician. Lisa’s family moved to Raleigh in 2008 when her husband opened a guitar store here. In Raleigh, she worked at a Medspa/Plastic Surgery office for 11 years learning medical skin care treatments and operating as Director of Aesthetic Services. She performed pre and post op recovery services, CoolSculpting, Emsculpt Neo, Endermologie, Novalash Extensions, Sugarlash Lash Lift, Medical Microdermabrasion, Hydrafacial, medical chemical peels, Microneedling, PRF, galvanic facials, and much more!
Lisa’s older daughter is a Medical Aesthetician and her younger daughter is in high school. Her husband works in tech, production, and music. She has two English Setters Rupert and Bentley.
